What Happens in a Week

Wow this has been an exhausting 7 days. Let me give you a run down on whats going on with me.

Last Sunday, I started to feel lightheaded, like my heart was racing and i couldn't catch my breath. My neighbor had a blood pressure cuff that also takes your heart rate. My blood pressure was fine but my heart rate was 114. We called the after hours line and they said just to rest until my already scheduled appt. on Tuesday. Tuesday my heart rate was 118 so we wanted to wait and have me check it at home periodically. By Thursday I went in for a different reason and my heart rate that day was 130. I was sent to a cardiologist for an EKG and 24 hour monitor. The monitor was turned in on Friday afternoon and I am still waiting for my results.

Now that I have been aware of my increased hr, I have noticed that I get acid reflux and a slight tightness in my chest when my hr hits about 115. At 120-125 I start to feel lightheaded, a racing heart and winded. At 130 and above I feel really nauseous, tingling fingers, and that I might faint. Its been a total pain and I am concerned about what this is doing to my baby. I am hoping that they can give me something to feel better.
